Built a high-performance GraphQL API platform serving complex data relationships with real-time subscriptions and comprehensive usage analytics for enterprise clients.
The Challenge
Enterprise clients needed to query deeply related data without the over-fetching and endpoint sprawl of REST, and they needed changes pushed to them in real time, not polled.
What We Built
We designed a type-safe GraphQL schema over the domain, served through Apollo Server with real-time subscriptions over WebSockets. Redis caching keeps hot queries fast, role-based access control governs who sees what, and rate limiting with usage analytics protects the platform while giving clients visibility into their consumption.
The Outcome
The platform sustains 10,000+ concurrent users with sub-100ms response times and 99.95% availability.
