End-to-end motor insurance API platform integrated with multiple insurance providers. Enables quote comparison, policy purchase, instant issuance, and road tax renewal. Partners can use their own agent codes for referrals and commissions, powering a well-known Malaysian mobile app and multiple koperasi white-label solutions.
The Challenge
Motor insurance distribution in Malaysia runs through agents and fragmented insurer systems. Digital partners wanted to sell policies inside their own apps, but each insurer exposes different interfaces, NCD rules and issuance flows.
What We Built
We built a single BNM-compliant API platform that normalises more than ten insurance providers behind one integration: a multi-provider quote comparison engine with real-time NCD and add-on calculation, policy purchase with instant issuance, road tax renewal, and a white-label partner portal. Partners plug in their own agent codes so referrals and commissions flow correctly, and the platform is containerized for scale and security.
The Outcome
The platform powers motor insurance inside a mini program on one of Malaysia's leading e-wallet apps and five-plus white-label koperasi solutions, returning quotes from all providers in under two seconds.
