Multi-Region DevOps Standardisation

Standardising how an enterprise engineering organisation ships software: more than 90 repositories, with over 30 actively deployed services, releasing to four AWS regions on weekly scheduled releases.

The Challenge

Every team shipped its own way: inconsistent pipelines, manual release steps, and infrastructure that drifted between regions. The organisation needed one standard way to build, review, and deploy across a large service estate without slowing teams down.

What We Built

We led the organisation's migration to GitHub and built automated CI/CD deployment pipelines across the engineering org. A standardised workflow was adopted across projects: automated release tags, commit-message standards, repository rules, PR checks, and task-case gating. Terraform and Terragrunt brought infrastructure-as-code to multi-region AWS environments, with custom deployment automation for specialised telephony workloads.
